Being an Aunty

Woof, Yaaaaaaaawn,
Sorry folks, I've been busy looking after the twins, Peaches and Patches again. I have so much fun with them I can't imagine why I was so worried when my sister first asked me to look after them. I didn't know what to give them to eat, what to do if they cried, how long they should sleep .... , I just had no experience. But my Mistress helped and I soon got the hang of it.
Loved seeing lots of you in assemblies this week. What fun we had keeping my Master awake and then hunting for Peaches. Master woke up for long enough to tell us the Christmas story and it made me think that Mary must have been a bit nervous too when the angel told her that she would have a baby - and not just any old baby! But she had God to help and he persuaded Joseph and the Innkeeper to help too.
Sadly we haven't got any more assemblies this year but Master and Mistress are going to be at lots of Christingles and Carol Services and I may come along too!

Hello, my name is Sophie and I live with Sue and Barry. They look after me but I get up to a lot of my own adventures. I love going into school assembly and meeting all the children. I also going to Cafe 4U where the children give me cuddles and play with me. I also like to set them a crafty challenge and I'll tell you about some of these in my blog.
I'm very proud to be an Aunty to my sister's twin puppies Peaches and Patches. They get into all sorts of trouble when I'm trusted to look after them.
Sue and Barry also have some puppets. There's Andy and Amanda who live next door to each other. Andy likes getting up to all sorts of things and Amanda often tags along - often hoping for a kiss from Andy because she likes to think he's her boyfriend. Andy thinks girls are a bit soppy and always runs away when she wants a kiss.
Then there's Andy's granny. She's just called Granny and she's from Wales. She's very wise and likes to visit Andy and his daddy to help look after them. She often comes on a Sunday and cooks them a lovely Sunday dinner.

Hello, my name is Sue and I live with Sophie and my husband Barry. I often think it should be that Sophie lives with us but she often seems to be the centre of attention.
We're both priests and love working with children. If you would like some more information about our assemblies or Cafe 4U then please leave a comment on Sophie's latest post. She's promised that I can write something sometimes!
